Simon George, aka "Spider George" is a renound film maker.
He's an EMMY and RTS Award winning writer / director working in both television and film. He has made many large-scale drama and documentary projects for some of the biggest broadcasters in the world (National Geographic, Discovery, History, SyFy, A+E, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, MTVetc), over 100 music videos, lots of live music films and many commercials.
When he's not working around the globe, he's in London with his wife Emily and their young son William.
Simon's surperb background as a writer, editor, and producer, is recognized along with his directing credits and awards.

JUNE 2014: Simons' film for The Sunday Times - Forever Unqiet Film Series went live on 8th June 2014 to lots of press and hype.
MARCH 2014: Simon George has just signed up to direct a large scale drama project for Discovery to be shot in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. There will be plenty of blood in this one!
JANUARY 2014: Simon began pre-production work series directing a new strand for Arrow Media for Discovery ID.
NOVEMBER 2013: After a solid year, Simon George finally completed work on the multi million dollar 'Miracle Landing On The Hudson'. It will be premiered in the US mid 2014 on NATGeo and will continue to be broadcast in countries across the world reaching an approximate 440 million homes.
OCTOBER / NOVEMBER 2013: Simon George won both an EMMY award in NYC and an RTS award in London for my Film 'World War 2 In Space.

My role was to develop, format and brand new productions.
Projects included ‘Fist of Zen’ for MTV which I took from a concept to a broadcastable pilot
and on to a 20 part series. Other projects included ‘Elton John - Me, Myself and I’ for ITV,
‘4play - Dragonette’ for Channel 4 and ‘High School Dance’ for E4.
March 95 – May 98 - Core member of Pig Productions.
As well as co-founding this music video company (UK’s most prolific 2 years running),
My responsibilities included directing, producing, editing and art directing music videos
and music documentaries.
January 93 – March 95 - Sound installation project with Brian Eno
